Wait, $74.99.

That's a joke right?

These games were $70 each new a LONG time ago. This is downright cheap comparatively.

The newest game in the package is almost 30 years old. Yes, this is a cash grab.

I'd pay $40 for all 6 at most.

It would be fun to play FFVI (FFIII on the snes) again. But at that price?

If you only played the SNES version. I would play the remaster. The SNES era FF translations are just garbage.

I really tried to get a physical copy of this on PS4, but they were so limited.

Would you say the SNES translation for 6 is bad? I know 4's translation is really bad. 4 reminds me of those Chinese RPGs on Steam that have the English subtitles that read like it was ran through Google Translate.

Has anyone played this yet on the Switch, specifically FF6?

Yes. 6 on the SNES and PS is a bad translation of the Japanese script. There are major story changes that should never have been made.

It won't be hard to understand or seem bad to you if you don't know any better. But the GBA and remaster translation are much better. It really improves the story.

I didn’t realize the remakes were already on mobile. I downloaded FFVI, and wow is this game as much fun as I remember.

I appreciate how they used a real orchestra for the soundtrack.

They redid the opera house. Now there are real human voices singing.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the bundle. I got an hour each into FF1 & FF4, for nostalgia's sake. I don't dare start VI because I know I won't put it down.

Being able to turn encounters off/on is amazing. I usually leave them on as I'm working through caves and then turn it off to backtrack and pick up stray chests I missed somehow.

Ditto for limping into town with a dead party member or two. Get to town, rez everyone who needs it, then go back outside and grind some levels/gil.

I wish they'd do pixel art as a paid patch for Secret of Mana. I really dislike the shite arse mobile phone looking 3d bullshite they used for the recent remake.

The real question is why is there no ChronoTrigger and/or Final Fantasy Tactics port on modern consoles?

They remastered a game called Tactics: Ogre that's available which is the same vein as FF Tactics. Doesn't have the same charm, but still fun. Gets hard as shite though to where it stops being enjoyable.

I had TO: Knights of Lodis on GBA, and have the new Switch port but I haven't been able to get into it like I did the original.
