Is this kind of bullshite really necessary? The overwhelming majority of the population agrees that Weekes did a horrible job writing Taash. But contrary to what you might think, the overwhelming majority of the population isn’t particularly good with, and will be alienated by, you coming off as a hateful epithet hurling count. Why do you feel compelled to go there?

Look at all the worst or most embarrassing games of the past like 5 years.
Their lead writer more often than not was either a white woman that lived in Cali, a gay or trans person or someone who was very young and raised on radical ideology. These people got to these places through quotas and not merit.
Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason no matter how offensive they are to a group of people. If words bring you that much pain to where you have to post about it then reexamine your life.
I’m not any Matt Walsh or Ben Shapiro that bows down to our Jew overlords overseas or has super conservative ideas that make absolutely no sense. Just common sense observation, man.

That’s a lot of words to mostly avoid my question.
Why feel compelled to use the turn of phrase “freaking figs”? And more interestingly, you were apparently uncomfortable saying “fricking” but were perfectly comfortable calling people “figs”. Why is that?

Touché. Love me a good South Park reference

If you have seen iCarly, think Neville. Neville is a fig. He is pretty much the prototype of a fig. The character himself is straight. . .I mean somehow.
But the term has been pigeonholed as a slur, so I don't really use it.

I completely get the Louis CK “people from Phoenix are Phoenicians” fig bit, but I think we can all agree that’s not how our man up there intended it

Type in the words you think I said and hit reply and see what happens. This site has a kiddy filter for certain slurs that really don’t make sense. Like @$$ is arse and poop is shite etc. Chicken is weird about that type of junk.
Honestly didn’t know there was a filter for either until just now.

There's a filter toggle on your profile, if you want to turn it off
Though there are a few words that are categorically filtered. Amusingly, I intentionally used one of them at the top of this page, as it's so well known on here: c un t filters to count no matter your settings. There are a few other blacklisted words as well, but no one should be stumbling onto them by accident.

well deserved. it's a travesty what they have done to that franchise. I bought it every year for 20 years and skipped the last 2 years.

I absolutely LOVED that year they did a FIFA world cup game I think I was like early maybe mid twenties when it cameout and im 36 now. You know what im talkin about? You could create your own guy position etc and pick your country
Also corinthians would you have interest in metaphor challenge runs?

yeah that version was awesome. think it was 2010 right?
how do the challenge runs work? been working on my backlog trying to finish KCD hardcore run before the 2nd one comes out
Posted on 2/2/25 at 5:25 pm to Corinthians420
Id create some rules for a run to put various checks and parameters in place you must abide by during the run. Many games do this and theres all different sort of challenge runs for many games like FF10 for example has a boat load of different ones. It is designed to test your knowledge of the game and grasp of the combat system etc. Idk im off work and juts sort of bored and wanted to see if youd have interest in doing one along side me. We could compare complete times and even just see if either of us can finish it all. All a bit of fun. If I come up with some guidlines and rules would you be interested? You can then go over them and either add your own thoughts or nix mine you arent partial to.

probably won't have enough time. I do think it would be interesting to test how strong I could make a berserker build work
Posted on 2/2/25 at 5:27 pm to Corinthians420
We can do it after KCD2 when you have the time. Ill need time to get into the game and make a fair but tough rule set anyway

I doubt we will ever get another Mass Effect, at this point
But it will not be coming anytime soon, and the BioWare team will not be around to do it
