I’m not sure I can pinpoint the improvements, but the game feels better than it did in beta, and I enjoyed the beta.
Lv 40 Barb and I’m loving it so far. They nailed the art style. I think the gameplay is a pretty solid mix of D2 and D3. It feels like you need to be more intentional than D3, but it’s a bit faster and less clunky than D2.

Yeah if you think it's just D3 skinned you're so far off it's not worth a response.

It's definitely more difficult than D3. I was playing on World Tier II but just couldn't beat that chick's mother in the ruins who did the ritual for Lilith when I was lvl 18 and had to back it down to Tier I. Just SO much shite going on and around and it felt like I could barely damage anything. Those mini bosses in the last phase just wouldn't die.
I beat it first try on Tier I.

Dude I’m glad I’m not the only one dying way more than expected.
I go back all the way to D1 with Hellfire from Sierra. I’m dying more in this than ever before. Love it.

Not sure what some of y'all are talking about. There are end game videos of people playing where the gameplay and the loop are damn near identical to Diablo 3.
Several elite affixes, tilesets, skills, sound effects, animations, and other things are clearly straight from Diablo 3, and just because you haven't played a lot of Diablo 3 recently doesn't make it untrue. The people who are making this claim are not nearly as far off as you may think.
The leveling experience, once you get past the smooth combat I'm not sure there's much there. The open world feels like a fail with the different areas just being reskins of each other and same with the dungeons. Don't even get me started on how the world scales when you level.
Have people not played ARPGs in awhile or something because there doesn't seem to be much here that is different or innovative. I don't expect positive vibes to hold up for more than a couple weeks. Something about the game is off.

I disagree completely. This game is the most polished Diablo release I’ve ever been a part of and I can only imagine the enhancements that will follow.
I’ve been a Diablo hater ever since d3 launched, but I’m back on the train.

All of the performance issues I had in the beta and was worried about were ironed out, at least with my build. Love this game.

This feels like a brand new D2 to me. It's awesome. My rouge is lvl 25. Some of these bosses are stomping a mudhole in me lol

I’m having fun, but the dynamic scaling is very lame. It’s so hard to feel like you actually are stronger when my level 25 friend is doing the same content I am at level 50. Gear in this game feels odd. Overall fairly happy so far, but really dislike that.
