No company should get involved in politics

Good lord, just keep updating Destiny and shut up
Ah yes, the good ol' "shut up dribble" crowd makes an appearance. There are actual people that run theses companies, and they're allowed to have opinions on such topics.
I would bet that 95% of video game developers and their employees feel the way they do in these tweets.

Wouldn’t be here if Bungie just kept quiet. It’s so important to them they put it out there for us to view and strike conversation.
Regardless, I think it’s bad business to alienate some of your customer base. But I guess they have a large female player base and a large amount of female employees that they want to let know how they feel….

Then if you’re an owner, fire the bitch and hire somebody else. If they do it, fire them as well.
I’d imagine firing the 23 year old and hiring the new one costs you way less than alienating half your customer base

Ah yes, the good ol' "make up shite statistics in an attempt to strengthen my argument" crowd makes an appearance.
The general population is close to a 50/50 split on the subject, but let's assume b/c these companies are full of milenials and Gen y/z that the split is closer to 95%. B/c no one under 40 could possibly not support abortion. Feticide is all the rage with the kids these days.

Well their stance inspired this woman to buy one of their games

You might be correct that 95% of developers and employees at these companies are neon haired screeching tranny libs, but 95% of the people that pay for their products sure as shite aren’t

having it guaranteed at the federal level is the only way to ensure it stays that way.

It's a post on Twitter, I couldn't give two fricks about it, and wouldn't have seen it at all if it hadn't been posted here. This is purely political related and not gaming

I mean…it’s a political statement made by a gaming developer. I’d consider that gaming news. Just my opinion.

Not melting at you. The stupidity of these companies piss me off to no end

Imagine thinking I give two shits about your opinions on political subjects being a gaming company.
You provide entertainment in exchange for my money. Dance monkeys, and shut the frick up. You have less value than even pro sports athletes.

well, the only way we know about this is by looking at their twitter account, and typically those are opinion based. you dont want to see that? get off twitter, easy fix. now if you boot up destiny and a message pops up and says "we support pro-life choices and you should too", then thats another story.
rockstar shut their servers down for like 2 hours after fentanyl george died

It's hilarious that people think Twitter "just won't matter if you ignore them".
Multi-billion dollar corporations make their daily decisions based on how the Twitter winds blow. Why do you think everyone is losing their goddamn mind that Elon Musk might apply the Twitter ToS equally?
