“Our table holds a lot more than yours”
Not even close. These wannabe activists pushing this gender identity bullshite don’t want to admit it, but there are way more of us than there are of them, and they have to cater to what we want if they want us to buy their products. If not, we will spend our money elsewhere.

Meh, haven't played a bioware game since Baldur's Gate and KOTOR from 20-25 years ago. That company existed in name only. When a studio dies, another will grow in its place.
But, I love when the market corrects itself. It's THE most redeeming quality of Capitalism.
It's also reassuring to see just how unpopular far left identity ideology really is. Everything they touch withers and dies. Why aren't they buying these games, watching those shows and movies? Because they hardly exist, they just get amplified by media/social media.

Crazy how quickly the downfall happened after EA bought them. Also surprising it took this long to die after all the shite they released since.
The only great game after EA purchased them was Dragon Age: Origins (production began 5 years before EA purchase) and that was coming off them releasing Baldurs Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, The Old Republic, and Mass Effect.
Mass effect 2 (also began production before EA purchase) was good but not great and mass effect 3 was so bad they had to redo the ending after they released the game.

That's a very EA thing to do. Throw one of your best IPs in the toilet.
Bioware did this to themselves
Before and after EA is night and day and you'd have to be blind not to see it. They went from making deep RPGs to making shallow cinematographic ones to try to achieve mass appeal
Also found this list.
With the Bioware Shutdown, Here's a Reminder of EA's History of acquisitions
Bullfrog (Syndicate, Dungeon Keeper, Populous, Theme Series) - Purchased by EA in 1995; shut down in 2001.
Westwood (Command & Conquer) - Purchased by EA in 1998; shut down in 2003.
Origin (Ultima, Wing Commander) - Purchased by EA in 1992; shut down in 2004.
NuFX (NBA Street) - Purchased by EA in 2004; shut down in 2007.
Pandemic (Destroy all Humans, Mercenaries, Star Wars Battlefront, The Saboteur) - Purchased by EA in 2008; shut down in 2009.
DreamWorks Interactive/Danger Close/EA Los Angeles (Medal of Honor) - Purchased by EA in 2000; shut down in 2013.
Black Box Games (Need for Speed, Skate) - Purchased by EA in 2002; shut down in 2013.
Phenomic (SpellForce, BattleForge) - Purchased by EA in 2006; shut down in 2013.
PlayFish (The Sims Social) - Purchased by EA in 2009; shut down in 2013.
Mythic (Dark Age of Camelot) - Purchased by EA in 2006; shut down in 2014.
Visceral (Dead Space) - shut down in 2017
Maxis (Sims, Spore, SimCity) Purchased 1997; gutted by 2019
Codemasters (Dirt, F1, Overlord) Purchased 2021; gutted by 2023
Bioware (Baldur's Gate, Kotor, Neverwinter Nights, DA:O, Mass Effect, some other terrible games) - Purchased by EA in 2007; shut down 2026
Respawn (Call of Duty, Titanfall, Apex Legends) - Purchased 2017; layoffs and cancellations
Dice (Battlefield, Battlefront, Frostbite) - Purchased 2006

ME 2 and 3 have lots of great moments but fall short off greatness. Particularly 3 feels like a missed opportunity.

I mean, they were acquired in 2007. They lasted almost 20 years under EA.
That is after flops like SW:TOR, Anthem, Andromeda, and Veilguard.
I actually have a soft spot for DA 2.
ME2 and 3 were solid. 3 suffered from Drew Karpyshyn leaving BioWare. I would have liked to have seen the original vision for the end of the trilogy. Casey Hudson is extremely overrated. The worst parts of 3 were EA's DLC practices.
Inquisition always felt very average to me. It wasn't inoffensively bad, but you play it then you play Witcher 3 like a year later and are like, "this is what they were going for with Inquisition."
I read somewhere a long time ago that they chastised and fired a bunch of their old writers while they were on their live service kick. The people who wrote the story for Veilguard just didn't have it, and Mass Effect 5 wouldn't have been much better unless they replaced like 85% of the studio.
It's sad, but the blame is not all on EA.

I couldn't play inquisition. It didn't feel like dragon age. It felt like a single player MMO.
It probably didnt help that they had already lost me because EA rushed Dragon Age 2 so much with the 16 month development window.

Not great
Only remembered fondly because of how shitty Veilguard was
It is the "SW Prequels were great" syndrome

I don't believe ME3 can reasonably be called a "bad game", even with the original ending. If ME3 was "bad", then 95% of games released are "bad".

Great news, their tranny HR dept never had a chance to ruin one of the best gaming IP's of all time in ME.

A lot of people have rose tinted glasses when it comes to ME2 and 3.
Unlike ME1, they are truly hard to replay.
They are extremely linear and more repetitive than ME1.
I actually have an extremely hard time replaying them.
I can do a ME1 100% run without issue at all, including planet exploration.
ME2 and ME3 aren’t bad. I just realized that they aren’t as good as I once believed them to be.
ME1 is far and away the best of the 3.

While people have much higher counts than me, I've replayed the entire trilogy to damn near 100% three times. I don't disagree with you that ME1 is the best of the series (I won't complicate things by discussing major mods). Ultimately, we don't disagree at all, because we both agree that ME3 isn't "bad".
So yeah, hey man, hope your day's going well

Yea, we agree.
ME2 I have replayed multiple times.
ME3 is the one I have replayed the least.
ME1 I have probably replayed at least 8 times.

It depends on how you define "replayable."
A game like AC Odyssey for as much as I love it, isn't replayable in the slightest because it is like 80 hour slog.
ALL the original Mass Effect games are replayable because they are 15-30 hours max to play through. Its the same reason why I've replayed Uncharted and the old AC games so many times as well. I have the same issue with replying Andromeda as I do replaying Odyssey. The open world activities are too much of a slog.
I love them all. ME1 is my favorite plot and atmosphere wise, but the gameplay was janky as hell back in 2007 let alone today. At its core, it's still a real time cover shooter, but your character progression fricks with your ability to aim, and the NPCs tokyo drift all over the map like you are playing online with bad lag. The side missions are almost all universally terrible. Land on planet (bland randomly generated plot of land), ride Mako to one of 5 buildings, entire building, kill all NPCs, leave. It's like a super dumbed down version of what everyone hated about Starfield. ME1 can also be extremely short (10 hours or less) or longer depending on how much time you want to spend with it.
To me, 2 has the best world building, but it feels like a giant side quest. It relies on a DLC to move the main plot forward in any measurable way.
3 has much better shooting mechanics. Not all plot threads are resolved in necessarily the most satisfying manner, but I still like it a lot.

Have we discussed how much better ME3 is when modded to within an inch of its life?
