I would say the thing is it's a bit unpolished. Some things feel a little clunky. Some of the movements in crowds are a bit awkward. The climbing mechanics can get confused. But no difference between any of the other Assasin's Creed games. I also don't think the graphics look great so far.

I was enjoying the game until I crash every time I enter the Pantheon district. Unfortunately my mission needs to go right to the edge of it and every time I get close, I crash. Terrible QA on this game.

this is the problem, people are ready for it to get better and it doesn't. I understand why people like it but many people are tired of it. I'm one of them, I can't keep playing an unpolished game, especially after Mordor released this fall with much better mechanics.

Interesting.
Based on the some of the set pieces in the reviews it looks like they are trying to fit way too many people in the crowds. It looks unnecessary when you notice that so many of them are a like and have the same movements.

When you're running through them, you'll kinda shove one guy out of the way but the animation is so large, you'll pass through a group of 5 people

Anyone getting rogue? I heard it was great and actually much more well recieved than unity.

What's killing it for me is the atrocious framerate. Sometimes you think it's not that bad then you randomly drop to single digits because you passed by a torch or something.
Still, there's a game buried underneath all the technical and microtransaction BS that's actually pretty solid. I love the new stealth mechanics.
