I realize this.
They have been clear you need an internet connection. What should he have said? Tell people to go get themselves some internet or tell them to buy their competitors console? No he said to go buy their very successful console until you have the internet connection to support the XB1. They are obviously going to continue to support it.

It just comes across as arrogant and a eff you to people who may want to play an Xbox One, but can't meet the requirements they set in order to play your games.

I just find it funny that they are trying to push us all into this new "future" of gaming but when asked he tells us to buy their old system.

Already pre-ordered the launch version of the PS4 on Amazon yesterday morning.
Oh, and I never owned a PS3. I do have a 360 though as well as a Wii U.

I had originally ordered the StandardXB1 on Amazon before realizing the difference. After that, I cancelled it to get the Launch Edition on BestBuy(as only the standard was still available on Amazon).
Looks like the standard is now sold out and the launch edition is available again on Amazon though.
Either way, I didn't trust them to ship in a timely manner, so I'm glad I switched. I'd rather pick it up the day it launches from a store than wait a few days for it to ship while everyone else is bragging about their new console.

Launch version and standard version are not actual versions. It is just a name amazon came up with because they ran out of PS4's that they could guarantee for day 1. So you should be good at Best Buy.

Still haven't picked up a game yet for my console but think I will today. I just noticed on BBuys site that Dead Rising says Day One Edition. I'm assuming that has to be listed as such to guarantee getting it on release day?
