I had ACL reconstruction and I have somewhat flat feet. Went to podiatrist, got some custom insoles and bought a pair of Brooks Beast running shoes. They've been a game changer for me.
Double burger from Moo Yah for lunch. Lasagna tonight.
LSU Purchasing office in T. Boyd hall. I was a student worker there. Everybody stopped what they were doing that morning and were huddled around the radio listening to the news.

I think I missed this boss in my playthrough and wound up fighting Eileen. She was no joke either.
Liked it a lot. Enjoyed the nemesis system and combat.

Playing through Wolfenstein: The New Order. Really enjoying it.
I have the standard pulse headset and mine doesn't work yet. I think there will be another update soon that will enable it to work. If you have the Pulse Elite headset, I think it comes with a headphone jack that you can plug into the controller, not sure though.
Fallout 3. Have a feeling GTA 5 will be the same way.
Great list of games.
I forgot I also played and finished Journey last week. It was a good experience. Don't know how to classify it other than an experience. Very short. Great graphics and music.

I also have been playing Sleeping Dogs. I'm about 2 hours in and it's been pretty cool so far. I like the combat system although I think Arkham's is slightly better. I don't have a lot of moves yet, though.
These are the games I've beaten since last year:

Dishonored - Loved it

Medal of Honor (2009) - it was ok. not great.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - good game, I liked AC2 better

Far Cry 3 - Loved it

Tomb Raider - Loved it. Not as much as Far Cry 3 or Dishonored.

Bioshock Infinite - Loved it. Liked first Bioshock better, though. Story was good

Guacamelee - Really fun game. Got to the end. Game breaking bug stopped me from progressing. It's been patched. I have to get back to it

The Last of Us - Loved it, didn't think it was overhyped. But I honestly didn't read a whole lot about the game or watch a lot of videos except for a few trailers.

Trying to decide what to play next: Just picked up Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I also have the original Splinter Cell HD trilogy that I haven't played except for the first few levels in the first Splinter Cell. I did beat Double Agent and Conviction on 360 and liked those.

I don't know what to do lol
I finished The Last of Us single player last night and would definitely recommend playing the game at some point regardless of what you do. If you enjoy survival/horror types of games with emphasis stealth, then you will enjoy The Last of Us. I have haven't played the multiplayer, so I can't comment on that. It also took me around 18 to 20 hours to finish the campaign and to me the game is worth a second playthrough. Personally, I've played the other 3 games you've mentioned and they are awesome, but I would go with the Last of Us.

Compared to what some people do in their free time, I don't really see gaming as a problem, honestly.
I don't let it get in the way of my work and family. I don't play everyday and when I do, it's maybe for an hour or two after my son is asleep. Marathon multiplayer sessions are over for me.
If you play in moderation, there really shouldn't be an issue. Now, I know a guy who is freaking obsessed with gaming, avoids responsibilities with family, misses work, etc. and really adds to the negative taboo associated with gaming with some people. He barely sleeps and is always sick.
At the end of the day, you only live once and you can't worry about what everybody thinks.
Just get whatever console (or PC, portable system, etc) that you want, fits your needs and budget, and don't worry about justifying it to anyone. This "console war" is stupid. Some of the jokes are funny, but to take this seriously at all is crazy.

We have enough responsibility in this world such as family, work, and school to worry about this stuff. This is supposed to be fun.

Who won E3? Who cares? I think we all did because I think everyone found something that they like (I hope).

As I've said, I don't think the Xbox One will be a bad console. It's probably not for everyone, but it is for some people and I'm glad it's here.

I'm getting a PS4 because I like Playstation. I knew before the PS4 was even announced that I was more than likely getting the next generation Playstation. So, I guess I'm a Playstation fanboy.

I have nothing against Microsoft, Nintendo, or PC gamers. I am happy that there are products for those formats because it further promotes a hobby that I enjoy for people who have different tastes in gaming than I do. I enjoy hearing about the experiences these people have with their consoles and the games exclusive to their consoles.

I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk, but most of these games are gonna be multiplatform anyway, so let's talk about them instead.

To the OP or anyone on this thread, this is not an attack on you. I've never been so excited about this hobby as I've been in the last few months and I just want everyone to enjoy gaming regardless of what system or game genre they choose.

I thought it was a great game. Really enjoyed it.
Also check out the Batman: Arkham series.
Not sure what type of budget you are looking at, but amazon has a lot of games for 30 bucks or less, some that have been released within the past year.

I recommend Far Cry 3, Dishonored, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Those are all great and could be found for $30 or less depending on when you check the site.

Deus Ex: HR is usually around $15
I think it's really too early to tell if this will be the last generation for Microsoft.

Sony kind of botched the launch of the PS3 with the expensive price and they seemed to bounce back a few years ago after a price drop, the release of some solid first party titles, and a better marketing campaign.

I'm getting a PS4 and don't plan on getting an Xbox One because I only want one gaming console and I prefer Sony's first party titles and have owned every PlayStation since PS1.

Yeah, some of these Xbox One jokes are funny, but at the end of the day, I don't want the console to fail. There are people who enjoy Xbox products and I hope they get a chance to enjoy this one.
