I'm being too picky on what villagers I want to take in

Benjamin is the 8th one I just invited to the island. My first dog.

So far I have:
Bam (OG)
Hazel (OG)
Deena (my favorite)
Pudge
Puddles
Ken (Kind of meh on him right now)
Angus (Bad arse old bull)
Benjamin

I only like Rod, Egbert and Kyle of mine. Tammie is okay but not a fan of Gayle and Pinkie. Have one more but forgot his name and a new one moving in tomorrow. I might have to buy amiibo cards if I want to switch people out without losing the ones I like.

Wasn’t feeling risky this week so I bought for 92 and sold for 111. Made about ~100,000

Turnip market sometimes crashes early in the week then by Thursday afternoon start creeping back up. Patience my friends.

I went to bed hoping to wake up to being in the small spike cycle only to wake up to the realization I am in a roller coaster cycle.

Sigh. I need to decide to sell now at 106 (bought at 100) or hold out for the roller coaster to go up, which it can.

i feel like such a fricking noob right now. I've never played one of these games before, so whenever i saw a rock i'd immediately eat fruit....not knowing i was supposed to hit the frick out of it first for all the resources and not just the 1 thing that pops out when you smoke it first shot. last night i hit one for the frick of it and i was immediately like oh frick. i've wasted sooooooo many rocks, clay, iron and bells

now i know.

When you hit a rock, make sure you put two holes behind you so you can get all 8 hits. Make sure all 8 spots around the rock don't have anything in them either. Diagonal holes in a corner tend to work better.

Are there a lot of characters that seem like their only personality trait is weight lifting?

I actually dig 3 holes, just in case I bounce off a different direction.

Also, my turnip prices haven't changed at all since Monday morning. It's now been 73 bells all 3 times. Anyone else seeing this?

Mine has never stayed the same - but that is odd, hopefully it means good things for you? Because if it's not going down then it's 100% not on the "downward trajectory" line

---

Mine just jumped up a little over what I paid... I'm honestly tempted to just sell and get my bells back since my "max" price isn't even that much more than what it currently is. Does anyone else on here have a decent possible spike? Like in the 200 range?

Well they finally changed with the afternoon update to 70 bells, so at least I know it's not broken

The calculator shows Thurs and Fri morning should be my peak prices.

My turnips are 121 this afternoon. Bought for 100, Monday afternoon 64. What calculator did y'all decide was most accurate?
