Steam has kept out visual novels and other similar titles because their arbitrary product restrictions. Yet this somehow makes it on there?

I have no idea why they may or may not reject a game. Neither do the people who are freaking about out this.
Just looking from the outside it seems ridiculous that the InternetAristocrat video has the chutzpah to complain about websites reporting about misogyny in the gaming world while at the same time accusing a woman of fricking her way to the top based on nothing more than hearsay.
The whole complaint seems to be that she got her game pushed through b/c she complained of sexist attacks. To then go on and claim she fricked all these people (according to an ex BF) as well as sexually harassed a guy (according to a tweet) to stop attacks on the game is some serious cognitive dissonance.

Perhaps she played victim a bit. Perhaps not.
All of that is edited down to give that site's knights side of the story just like her shite would be edited to give hers.
That doesn't change that the main video in the OP is a very weak example of journalism and the fact that it bemoans shite journalism and problems w/bias is quite amusing.
Again, if you want to take a journalist to task for a shitty story regarding sexism and bias don't turn around and go with the worlds most cliche sexist attack of "Oh she fricked her way to where she is" or use a tweet from a random person on the internet as a legitimate source.
