Parts of Kenna-brah....dangerous as Chicago

Really man, we went In March from a recommendation from my buddy who's the chef at Meribo and really enjoyed the food and cocktails.

Please show me where all the crime in Kenner that is remotely as close to crime in Chicago. What a ridiculous comparison

Maybe I just caught them on an off night, last time we went was about a year ago and every single dish we got (including some of our staples) were very middle of the road. And the paella that we used to love was truly bad.

We had no complaints, but theb again maybe they had a good night when we went.

Is RPM Italian worth trying?
I very much enjoyed RPM when I went. The gnocchi crushed.

If it hasn’t been said, this is way too broad. At least break it down by city.

NYC: Katz’s Deli pastrami sandwich
Chicago: Johnnie’s Italian Beef. Get fries and a lemon ice to go with it.
Runner up: Lou Malnati's pizza

So. I took the black car. Cost $140 and I tipped $30.
Took 1.5 hours and I'll be taking the train back to the airport.
The flight was only 2 hours.
Wrong thread.

Got Lou's. Didn't get the Italian beef from there. Went to Portillo's

I really like it here. Much much cleaner than nola. Only feels sketchy in the lower level streets. The ones they filmed batman on.
Other than that been great. Will come back for a longer trip soon.
My base is the Intercontinental on Michigan. Great area.

So on day three we've been waking everywhere. I haven't had the need to go south of Soldier field or North of the Hancock building so just walking.
Just finding out weed was legal here. But have kids with me and they are teens and I'm on my Nancy Reagan platform right now.

Thx for the update. Where you are is very safe … take the kids to see The Bean and the architectural boat tour is also cool. Lincoln Park Zoo is free, worth checking out although it’s nothing like the Audubon Zoo. Navy Pier , several of the history museums, and the Ferris wheel is pretty cool to check out. During the summer, they have fireworks every night at the NP.
Edit: the subway or L-Train cost is $2.50 per person per ride, or $5 for a day pass. About a 45 minute ride to OHare.
Cubs host the Brewers next few days as you can get tickets for as little as $25-30 if you search around. The Subway will drop you off 2 blocks from the stadium

Get into some neighborhoods.

That's bad advice. The blue line is super easy, cheap, dumps you right downtown and might be quicker than a car depending on the time of day.

Fixed.
And I second the architecture tour recommendations. Great way to get on the water and learn a ton about the city and its history.
