So far, JasonL79 is the only one who mentioned what is probably one of the best kept secrets in New Orleans when it comes to Po-Boys ... Castnet Seafood.

I forgot about this place. I would put it in my top 5. My buddy lives right down the street, I need to hit this place up again soon.

There roast beef is processed while gravy is homemade... I don't get it.
The shrimp, only on Fridays, decent.
Thursday chicken fried steak with roast beef gravy and beans, FTW.

Although few people on here would be brave enough to go there, Gene's on the corner of St. Claude and Elysian Fields (big pink building) has the best hot sausage po-boys.

I can't eat that anymore, but i chose that as the last Po-Boy i ever ate.

Tracey's (old Parasol's) for Roast Beef...

I hate to say it, but most are interchangeable for the rest...

Used to stop there on the way home from work. They had some really good po-boys. Honestly, i never felt "not safe".
