Your Favorite CookBook?
My grandma collected cookbooks, she passed 5 years ago and they were the only thing of hers that I wanted afterwards.
My favorite that I use is Pots, Pans and Pioneers Vol 2.

Which ones do you guys love?

I like science-y cookbooks that give you techniques and explain why it is being done the way it is. This is the one I use most at home. I also type in Serious Eats (where the author of this book works) anytime I Google a specific recipe.

I don't use cookbooks. I merely wait for bdevill to post and educate us all on what and how to cook.

For reference I use this one a lot

I also use one that our local animal rescue group put together caller Pots, Pans, and Paws. A good bit of local recipes in it.

The Joy of Cooking, because it explains techniques rather than just giving a set of instructions.

I need to add that one.
I have the john folse bible, but honestly never reach for it. My brother has the same one and it stays on his kitchen table he uses it so much.

A lot of classics here, but I'm going to go with two with a little sentimental value:

and

Wife and I got married and she was in grad school taking night courses. We either ate out or I had to cook, and I had no idea what I was doing. These two cookbooks and Alton Brown's Good Eats show were pretty much my culinary school.

I had the cookbook from Pasta Garden's owner. Loved it. Flood claimed it, so I assume a replacement is a pipe dream..

I use America's Test Kitchen more than any other. An incredible variety of recipes and most are very approachable.
