Tessie's Place in Metry.

Station 6

I wouldn’t call Peche fine dining but I don’t consider it particularly casual either.

I guess Patois might be one step above casual but that's my go to.

you don’t “get” R&Os? What’s there to get? It’s good food in generous portions in a casual atmosphere for reasonable money LOL

you might be the only person I’ve ever heard say they didn’t like it

I guess you should define casual? Simply dress code? Plenty of places qualify for that. Or are you talking about price point?

Also, limited to NOLA proper or the metro area? If including greater NOLA area I'd say Rumba in Metairie.

And as someone said earlier, depends on your mood or cuisine. Plenty of options.

Pizza? Zee's, St Pizza, Forbidden.
Sandwich? Cochon Butcher
Indian? LUFU.
Southern? Gris-Gris, Joey K, Katie's.
Breakfast/Lunch? Bearcat
Poboy? Pick one.

Honestly not sure there's a single restaurant listed in this thread that I wouldn't go back to.
