Seems like they are very hit or miss. In Metairie, the one in clearview mall is garbage. They really dont even seem to want to take your order once you sit down. The one hidden in Elmwood is pretty good though. I would love a BWW though.

slidell has a BWW.. I doubt it's worth the half hour drive though

I actually used to drive out there every now and then. Sometimes I stop at the one in Houma. Its pretty good but the service is usually not so great. Usually get a different pregnant chick every time. One time they told me it was Spanish beer night.

I've only been there 2-3 times but it's been good every time

Yeah , I had to let her know it was Mexican not Spanish. She didnt know which ones were on sale and I ended up paying full price for Dos Equis draft.

PJ's I think has a place on Essen by OLOL. Wanna say it's at the same spot the old Starbucks was.

They shut down the WOW in LaPlace recently. Not that I will miss it at all. I thought it was over priced food to begin with, and that the people there had attitude. Good riddance.

From New Orleans City Business:
Scott Ballard, 35
Steve Ballard 37
Paul Ballard, 38
Founders, WOW Café and Wingery
As New Orleans filled with floodwater, Scott, Steve and (seated) Paul Ballard, founders of WOW Café and Wingery, were driving to upstate New York to open a new franchise. During the long ride, they talked about the future of their business. 'We made a commitment to ourselves that we were going to survive," says Paul, 'and we made a commitment to grow the brand nationally and then we made a commitment to New Orleans."
At that time, the chain had 19 locations, and 12 were in the New Orleans area. 'We thought that we were out of business," Paul says. The brothers began cleaning out the restaurants and recovered from the storm without firing a single employee.
Paul, the oldest of the brothers, opened his first PJ's Coffee franchise in 1995, a year after he graduated from Tulane University. Steve and Scott, also Tulane graduates, started Smoothie Kings in Georgia and North Carolina. 'We call it our MBA program in franchising," Paul says.
'We bought franchises, and then we became franchisees."
After designing the WOW concept and opening the first two restaurants on the Northshore in 2001, they've expanded the chain to 44 locations in 16 states. But it is still a Louisiana company.
'It's our identity " it's who we are," Steve says. 'All things being equal, we will do business with a Louisiana brand before we do it with anybody else." Crystal is the base for WOW's hot sauce, and Paul Prudhomme makes the chain's spice blends.
'Everyone is amazed that three brothers started a company, have had some success and no police reports have been filed," Scott says. Even with the occasional argument, all three brothers say they prefer working with family. 'It's awesome, it's happy, it's sad, it's exhilarating," Steve says. 'I think the best part about it is that we unconditionally love and trust each other." " Price

I've been there once and that was enough. Awful service.

The one in Ruston was horrible too... Was up there for work awhile back and it seemed like the only decent place to eat. Was just in Covington this past weekend for work and saw the WOW wondering if it was any better. Guess I found my answer. Thanks.

I wouldn't call. Screw Wow's. It's obvious they don't have their shite together and couldn't possibly be ignorant of the problems they are having.

the one in chalmette is pretty good... i gotta know to not get the buffalo "XIII" sauce again...

I had a buddy who worked here in high school. Place was an absolute shite hole. Management didn't know what they were doing and he told me everyone just fricked around. He told me so many stories of just forgetting to make peoples food and leaving wings in the frier until they were way past done and then still serving them. Sounds like things probably haven't changed much since then.

Thanks for the #, I will not call, but my neighbor will.
My complaints at the start of the thread are from October, but my neighbor went last night and had the same problem.
1. Slow Service: 50 minutes to get a Kentucky wrap and a Hamburger Po-Boy (which was the Daily Special)
2. Accuracy: No cheese on burger as ordered, and wrong drink served.
When he told me this story, it reminded me to post it on td.com, just bc of the crappy feeling it gave us to be strung along there.

I went to the WOW on Hwy. 59 in Mandeville and had a similar experience. The place was 1/4 full and it took 10 minutes to get seated, 10 more to get a waiter, 45 to get an order of tossers and a kids chicken fingers, and when we asked for silverware the waitress told us she didn't know if they had any clean. That is the last time we went. In the hour and a half we were there, I saw three checks comped, but not ours. I even went to the website to send a suggestion that they need to straighten things up at that location and explained our experience but didn't even get a peep back. This wasn't the first poor experience we have had, and it seems to be the case for almost all of the locations we have been to. They also have very sketchy people that work there - particularly the one in Elmwood.

that location had awful service the 1 time i went. Basically rushing customers out an hour before closing time.
But that entire franchise is terrible from my experience. The sooner it goes under, the better.
terrible wings, shitty staff, assholes with the TVs, inefficient, not a great value, and uncomfortable....what a combo.
