I can drink them both. They aren't nasty.

Maybe you don't like radlers.

It's hard to remember off the top of my head, but based on the beers I've rated on untapped. It's a tie between Stillwater Yacht Lager and the New Belgium Lips of Faith Blackberry Barleywine.

I don't know, an IPA Radler sounds pretty horrible. Radlers do best with lager bases.

Years ago I had either Sierra Nevada pale ale or ipa. Whichever it was I couldn't finish it. Both are very popular so I'm obviously in the heavy minority here.

Lazy Magnolia Kiln Mississippi Gold.
Imagine if someone pissed in your Miller Lite.

I like everything else they brew, though, they're pretty solid.

To be fair, IPAs age badly, so what may appear to be a bad bear is just a beer that's way out of date.

I remember the first time I tried a Stone IPA when my Mom picked up a sixer for me. This surprised me, because Stone had a good reputation. I went and got the bottle and realized that it was 2 years old.

They do a lot of experimenting up here, and there are a ton of beers that are much worse than the Rogue Voodoo beers. Many Brewers try to do something cutting edge and fail.

Came here for that. So bad

quote:

Once this atrocity pours into a glass, it actually looks fine. This is until your nostrils are infiltrated by a combination of barf and swiss cheese and mayo that have been left to rot in the sun for about 3 years. Taste the same and I'm pretty shocked Bayou Teche allowed this to be bottled and put on a shelf, for $9+ per bomber nonetheless. Worst anniversary ever. 367 characters Ryno82883, Feb 24, 2016

This was awful. Cheesy, hot garbage taste and an awful aftertaste of something horrible. I love this brewery, but something went wrong here. 140 characters amandau512, Aug 27, 2015

quote:

Persimmon Sour is the clear, absolute worst beer I've ever had in my life. It's actually the worst thing I've ever had, food or beverage. Liquid, rotten garbage. How did they not test multiple bottles before they hit distribution? Especially for a special release like your 5 year Anniversary? The lactobacillus here is doing horrid, infectious things to a base Berliner Weisse that seems to lack any integrity to begin with. Heavy off flavors of: DMS, isovaleric acid and butyric acid. The fruit was also not treated well and could be a contributing culprit. The thing is, they got the label almost right: smells like that Opossum rummaging through garbage, but only if that Opossum died in the process. Here's what I'm getting. Nose is immediately copious vomit then waves of hot garbage, Bogalusa Louisiana, prank stink bombs, decomposing animal carcasses, spoiled yogurt or ranch dressing, farts, sweaty feet, moldy fruit, a festering sewer, rotten Stilton cheese and rotten butter. Can you believe what I'm about to say next? I actually tasted it, twice! And that decision is a regrettable one. Tasted like a liquid landfill. A few hours before trying the Persimmon Sour, I had Bayou Teche Saison D’Écrevisses with some boiled crawfish that paired well and was sessionable. After the Persimmon Sour I was lucky to have a Bayou Teche Coteau Rodaire near by to rinse my mouth out from the residual vomit. No, not only vomit-like flavors but real, actual vomit. I literally threw up after tasting the Persimmon Sour; the first time that has ever happened after trying any beer for the first time. The worst beer experience of my life. 1,646 characters brandoneast, Apr 16, 2015

[Indian Wells Amnesia IPA by a fricking landslide. Been a decade since I've had it, and it still stays with me.]

This gets my vote. I bought a six pack and drain poured 5.5 bottles.

Any Gose. I'm convinced it's an industry wide joke to see what lengths people will go to in order to appear ahead of the curve.

Oh, mother of God.

People always refer to the big three beers as pisswater, but Gose is a beer that actually does taste the most like piss. I swear it's a joke.

Crime, Arrogant Bastard with a ton of chiles aged in bourbon barrels. Sounds interesting enough but it was awful.
