Women and the Olive Garden, I don't get it

So it was the fiancée's bday and I told her to name any place she would like to eat and we and our group of friends would go. She says Olive Garden immediately. Then she proceeded to call all the girls who were going and they were all excited.
What followed was me receiving 4 text messages from guys saying WTF? Olive Garden sucks!
So we went last night at 7:30. Table for 10. Had
like a 30 minute wait. Place was packed (as was
Golden Corral as I drove by it - Bay Leaf virtually empty
)
Got the stupid panzotti thing with sausage. Food was bland. It's real simple food to make and they can't make
it well. Just sad.
Women all loved their meals of course. Bill for me was over $50 cuz the bday girl had to get choco martinis. All in all, I'm
never going back. No way. Never again!

That is so true. I took her and was promptly rewarded when we got home. Still, the meal sucked.

She is 23. And the other female friends are 30, 28, 28, and 26. All range in jobs from teacher, to pianist, to opera singer, to retail manager. Education range from no college to master degrees. All love it.
And most of every girl I have ever known loved it as well.

I feel the same way on olive garden...unfortunately my gf thinks just like your fiancee. Last time I went I actually found something i liked though. The Pork Milanese was actually good, the first thing I've liked from OG in years.
