Wing sauce

I smoked some chicken wings and used Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo wing sauce. It is really good. It has the consistency of ranch dressing. It is not overly spicy but really flavorful.
Just thought I would pass it along.

Thanks for sharing but the whole "consistency of ranch dressing" is like saying "someone is the size of a woman."

I understand the ranch reference. It's thick and not runny.

Yep, apparently ranch was a poor comparison!!!! Point is , it is thicker than water.

I have used that one and nothing wrong with it for sure. I liked Sweet Baby Ray's more.

Not a fan of a thick Buffalo sauce. Homemade Buffalo sauce is better than any store bought

Not at all. That poster is "special". Everyone gets that it's a thicker sauce

If any of y'all are near a Jim N Nicks and like white sauce on wings, theirs is pretty good. I placed a big to go order on Saturday at the one here, and got a dozen smoked wings with the white sauce. It has a bunch of black pepper and some cayenne as well.

Doesn't Moore's make a Buffalo sauce? Anyone tried it?
Posted on 9/28/21 at 4:21 pm to jchamil
Moore's is good. I like all of Moore's sauces/marinades, personally.

Yes indeed - Moore's is great, imo

We mix equal parts of Frank's hot sauce with melted butter and it turns out great.

Louisiana brand is my favorite.

Call me crazy - because I'm not a fan of their beer, but this was the best store-bought wing sauce I've ever tried. Not even sure if it's still made.

Cup of regular Frank’s(not the Buffalo), 3 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon vinegar. Much better than Frank’s Buffalo Sauce.

Love Moore’s.
I just make my own with butter or tallow and crystal. Cook/smoke them, toss in the sauce, back on for 5-10 then toss again at the end.
I’m not into fancy sauces though.

I can't believe you're getting downvoted but I LOVE that sauce man. Sweet Baby Ray is horrible and doesn't even deserve to be mentioned. Just did oven wings tonight. SPG and corn starch. 425* oven on a wire rack. Comes out crispy AF.
Toss in Franks.
Profit.
