Hell I think Jazz Fest is a great deal but people love to gripe

You're also getting top of the line acts. I could basically see Elton John, John Legend, and other headlining acts for the price of one day admission. The music quality at Hogs isn't near that quality.

I have no issue paying for my food and drink. My issue is paying such a high premium just to enter. I have kids. If i bring my two kids, that's another $200. So i'm at $500 for the day? Yea i don't think so

I will gladly pay considering I haven’t been to a festival in about 15 months. A little steep this year but with the limited capacity I can understand. Plus the live music will be great.

Will be there but honestly, I liked Hogs more back in the day when half the teams had pop up tents and small smokers and were out there to have fun, hang with their buddies, and raise a little money for charity.

I know they raise more money now but its feels way more corporate and more and more of an "insiders" event. Maybe that's nostalgia from back in the day.

Can’t eat teams food at Memphis. No bands.

Who wants to go to Memphis in May if there is no music? I didn't realize they were even still having the event

Can’t disagree. Babies don’t keep.

I try to eat at the smaller booths as it is difficult for them to compete for attention with some of the huge monstrosity booths built now. There’s only so much meat you can push down your hole so you have to be selective

regardless Hogs is my favorite festival of the year. I would choose Hogs over jazz fest for value and overall experience 10/10
