They no longer have to according to any mandate, and it’s mainly run by baws. I know we have some insiders

Guessing it was planned for the amount they sold tickets for and would be hard to double it at this point? Not really sure though

Have they said they are still enforcing the masks?

Said on team call tonight that they will not require masks as they are not mandated by Plaquemines Parish.

Said site is a little smaller so won’t have unlimited capacity. But expect it to be pretty close to normal.

Friday night...where it’s at

They also increased the ticket price to make up for less attendance. I'm sure a lot of people would complain about that if they opened it up now

they raping wallets for tickets this year

can't get behind where i pay to get in and then pay for everything i eat and drink.

seems that admission should be much less if i literally pay for everything i eat/drink/do aside from a few moderately popular musical acts

charity or no charity, 140-150 for two people's admission, on top of likely $150 in food and booze? That's $300 for a one day event. I can't say it's actually worth THAT much.

its just my .02

There are several other bbq fests that do not require admission or $70 and up admission cost.

It's for the kids with cancer. If you can't get behind that then I don't know what to tell you.

then why not charge $100 for tickets? Why not $200? It's for charity.

It's my money and opinion. The juice isn't worth the squeeze

You’ve always paid to get in and paid for food and drink.

I usually pay $30/person to get in.. and then we buy food and drink a million months later while there.

Juice is 900% worth the squeeze at those prices. No idea this year pricing. I can’t make it.

yes, i never said free admission. They doubled the cost from past years.

For instance Memphis In May, $12 admission.

Can’t eat teams food at Memphis. No bands. Apples to oranges.

They said prices will go back to normal next year. But I don’t know any festival that’s $70 with bands that includes food and drink.

Hell I think Jazz Fest is a great deal but people love to gripe
