How long did you physically wait in the restaurant???

Location....WD shopping center has been dying ever since ROUSES opened across the street...
Also its too hard to get in and out of the shopping center...
If it was in the rouses shopping center it might made it...

Based on what I hear on this board the BR location of everything is the worst.

Fuzzys started as a cool low key taco joint next to TCU. The food was great
Just like everything else, they sold to corporate America years ago and they took it nationwide and the quality went down

Fuzzy's the Dallas chain? If so, that's garbage, even at their flagship in Dallas.

Agree. Torchys is much better.

We had one here in Clinton. Went several times and said "Taco Bell is as good as this stuff", so we stopped wasting our money there. Not my fault, but they went out of business within a year.

You waited 2 hours for a torchys order?

El Tio Taco and Ideal Market are right down the street

I hear that parking is a nightmare and things are too hard to get in and out of all of the time. Hell, fuzzys is mostly a parking lot.

Torchys has good sauce

quote:Mellow closing wasnt because of a corporate decision. It was because a certain clientele was allowed to roost there, and shootings and stabbings started to happen in the parking lot. Thats when the money customers stopped showing up.
If I had to guess it's similar to Mellow Mushroom closing. Corporate decision.
and THATS when Corporate pulled the plug.

It's a mile from LSU in the same parking lot as a grocery store. Yes, turning in can be a bit tough, but the Lee light has turn signals to where you could always get a right turn into the lot.
The location is not the reason they're closing.

Yes but Zippys has 10x the atmosphere Fuzzys has. This matter much more than yall acknowledge. Just look at Omi.

quote:but really......did it? I never ate there because of what LL said.....it just didnt look like a place i wanted to go. a cookie cutter, fancy taco shop. Same with torchys and government. Give me that taco truck 10/10 times.

You add Torchy's and the college crowd which was the staple of their business started going to Torchy's instead
Fuzzy's is better than Torchy's.
What is good at Torchy's? Every time I have been it is incredibly average for the price.
