When Canes only had two locations. Bailey's across the street had coupons. $1 off and free drink and they could be combined. With coupon was $4.15 for a large box combo. I liked Baileys better than Canes back then.

That's consistently the one I get the best chicken at too.

I always wondered how does Canes draw from the same employee pool as other fast food places yet have such noticeably better employees?

The tenders have been getting bigger ever since they switched to rat meat last year

Next to Chick Fil A , Canes may be the most overrated fast food chain out there.

They did a good job of attaining a better quality employee from the get go. As time went on those employees of quality and class kept going where they knew they would work with like minded individuals.

Chapel Hill just got the first Canes that I've seen in NC. They're located in one of best real estate spots in all of CH. A lot of people are pissed that a chain moved in there. I'll give it a shot before I pass judgment.

If your are discounting your food that means it was priced too high to begin with.

Canes used to do a really cool deal with the Louisiana Tech Basketball team. If Tech won and got over 79 points then you could buy one get one free.

They got crowd attendance up but quit that with the quickness. So they still do that with other Louisiana universities?

Canes does do buy one get one box combos on Mothers Day and Father’s Day.

I wish with as high as their prices have gotten that they do a loyalty program that builds points for free items like Chick Fil A. You can even have tiers like Chick Fil A. The top tier can be the Caniac Tier and earn more points after spending 500 dollars in a calendar year.

Through their loyalty program, many moons ago when the Pelicans were still the Hornets, I won tickets to a game, a few box combos, and a signed Hornets basketball.

me too, by far. Baileys just had a bunch of employees who would trade free chicken for beer. One time, I grabbed a 12 pack from the Texaco and left Baileys with a bag of 50 chicken fingers.

I think they pay a little better than other fast food places too. And they’ll do shite like close early Super Bowl Sunday and hold crawfish boils for employees.

Does Chick-fil-A do coupons? I just don’t see many coupons these days.

My kids have more free kids meals than they could eat in a lifetime. School, Swim Team, Soccer, etc. we probably have 10-15 easy.

They do but it's typically a marketing gimmick. The teachers give them out as prizes at school to a kids. So now the whole family has to go to Canes.

Not a coupon, but they also team up with a school to give proceeds back to the school on a given date. Once again load up the minivan so we can "support" our kids school!

Why would they? The business is built on efficiency. You don’t even get perks on the app.

It’s the perfect fast service business model.

I went to Canes one time. I failed to see the reason why people love this place. It's definitely over priced and their chicken is kind of bland. The fingers that I ate tasted like fried chicken that people's moms would make. I hate to say it but I like the tenders at KFC. Popeyes isn't bad either. I didn't see why people love Canes and I never went back.
