Of all the places I've tried, my absolute favorite is at Bourque's Supermarket in Port Barre. I think I even like it more than their boudin, and jalapeño-sausage cheese bread.

I also really like Lil' Dizzys version, and I used to really like Cafe des Amis in Breaux Bridge, before they shut down (I believe Grapevine in Donaldsonville makes a similar version.)

What's your favorite?

My dad makes the best. Amaretto sauce on top he does is killer.

Had some from Rocky and Carlo’s in Chalmette this past weekend that was pretty legit. Had a meringue on top with a sauce you could pour over. Different for me but good.

If you ever find yourself in Donaldsonville, stop at Grapevine downtown and get you some bread pudding. It is absolutely delicious.

Don't really order bread pudding when out and almost all of what I've eaten I've cooked myself and it is pretty damn good stuff if I may say so myself. I like to top it with a nice drizzle of either a whiskey or rum sauce to kick it up a bit.

Not to pat myself on the back but I've been told I make the best bread pudding. I've even been asked to make it to sell and I have. I've made several different kind such as the original with raisins and pecans to Amaretto and even chocolate.

I think Sammy’s makes a good bread pudding with blueberries in it. I love bread pudding with a good sauce yum

Bon Ton Cafe and it's really no contest. It's been consistently recognized as the best around.

Ched really? I eat there a good bit and never had it.

Best I’ve had is the white chocolate bread pudding at Atchafalya golf course in Patterson.

Yes it's plain ole bread pudding, no raisins, no chocolate.... but it's really good. You can get it cold, warm and with or without rum sauce. Try it out next time.

Riverside Inn in Broussard followed closely by The Grapevine in Donaldsonville

I've had it at Bourque's before, and I wasn't too fond of the icing on the top.

I'm a bread pudding fiend and it's my go to dessert when eating out. The absolute worst I ever had was at Itta Bena in Memphis, so after that I no long order bread pudding outside of South LA.

I'm really against chocolate on my bread pudding, so that rules out several.

It's hard to pick a favorite....perhaps Satterfield's in New Roads, but it was years ago that I last had it there.
