Growing up, this was my favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner. Always straight out the can, never mixed it with stuffing, etc. Don't even try giving me the stuff with the berries in it.....

Fresh Berries, OJ, Water, Sugar, Ginger, and Orange / Lemon Zest. Makes a good cranberry sauce.

Nothing beat the canned jelly when I was younger though. I still look at it in the store and will sneak a can onto the table on holidays.

Product of the descendants of the folks who kilt our ancestors at Sharpsburg, Gettysburg, and Antietam.

My MIL buys this for me even though it goes against every fiber of her being. I love it.

You've never lived until you have a waffle made from leftover cornbread dressing covered with a slice of turkey, some giblet gravy and a slice of cranberry sauce on top.

This is some GOOD eatin'!

Today I did fresh berries, OJ, sugar, a cinnamon stick, satsuma, and a Thai chili that I removed after cooking the sauce.

I also bought a can of the jellied sauce for the whole berry hater (my husband).

ETA: Oh, and chopped pecans.

Made a special trip to the grocery today for some. If I’m eating dressing, I want a thick slice of cranberry sauce straight out the can laying beside it. I get a little bite of cranberry on my fork with every bite of dressing.

This guy!

I’m the only one who eats it but my mom and grandma when she was alive made sure there was a can sliced up for me! Spoiled I know!

Nasty! Fake taste with high fructose corn syrup. Might as well have turkey from a can. I will take real cranberry sauce with all natural ingredients.

That can has been on my families thanksgiving table as long as I can remember. While it may be fake or filled with un natural stuff it will always be on the table for memories alone.

And I like a slice of it on my plate, after my meal and before pies
