I bought one last year, MsAntique wanted one. I was impressed from the stuff I was hearing about it. Over the last few months, I realized the near unlimited possibilities of this thing. Red beans in 45 mins, entire roast in an hour.

My favorite thing I’ve made with it so far:

Bourbon Braised Short Ribs & Grits

I don't use mine nearly as much as I should. What I've been using it for lately is steaming vegetables for my son so we can grind them up to make baby food. It's so quick.

I still think there's no substitute for low and slow when making a roast. It is great for weeknights though.

I love my Instant Pot. We use it many times per week, especially since getting the air fryer attachment.

Chicken thighs are my favorite in it. After searing, 13 minutes with 5 minute release and perfect every time.

Started doing instant pot stuff a few weeks before quarantine. It makes meal prepping super easy. Big fan

Can’t say that it has changed my life, but it sure as heck makes it easier to cook big hunks of protein quickly, esp for use in other dishes.

It takes up space in the cabinet.

I was really sceptical about the InstantPot & didnt want one because of the hype it generated. Then I received one from my MiL this past Christmas & finally opened it up in February. It's definitely a game changer.

I made pollo de tinga, Mexican rice, & charro beans (from dried beans, no soak) all in 2 hours. I was able to cut, chop, shred, & gather sundries as each dish cooked. The entire meal was ready as the final dish finished releasing.

Definitely a good appliance as well for meal prepping.

I love my instant pot and I have used it for just about everything.

My favorite recipe is Instant Pot Butter Chicken Bowties

This is the most flavorful recipe I have ever come across for the Instant Pot and it is very quick and easy. The only thing I had a hard time finding was the garam masala but I ordered it on amazon.

I have made it a few times and it is one of my staples now.

Mine has totally changed my kitchen by taking up counter space and collecting dust.

Biggest waste of a kitchen purchase to date.

Sorry you’re OT poor and can’t afford a house with a large pantry. Ours doesn’t sit out. It sits on the top shelf in our walk in pantry.

It changed my way of life.

My wife wanted one and quickly realized she still can't cook for sh!t. So now it sits on our counter taking up space. My way of life changed because now I have less counter space.

Hard boiled eggs are super easy and always peel easily when cooked in the Instant Pot.

I need to experiment with it, more. Have made soup, Mac n cheese, pot roast, and a few other things.

I need to start using mine more. Have had it for 2+ years but maybe only used it two or three times. And I meal prep every Sunday. Just need to find recipes that appeal to me.

That is all it's been used for also. We did some meals when we got it and they were good but nothing 'instant' about them. But my wife loves those eggs. Kind of expensive hard boiled egg maker though.

It's great for making Pho or Bun Bo Hue. You can get that rich broth in 1.5 hrs.

We use the Instant Pot at least once a week. Made pot roast the other night that was perfect.

Really like my Instant Pot, but only bring it out, on average, once per week. Use it, primarily, for chicken thighs and salmon.
