On The Border is still open next door.

As for the question, I think Cove has the BEST tap selection. Bulldog is still my general preference. I've heard Chimes is trying to step up their game also.

This is accurate. It is already better and more goodness to come.

In the last few weeks they've added Endeavor and Old Rasputin that I can think of--others too. They are installing a new tap system soon and there will be more of a focus on craft beer instead of european lagers and such.

It's odd that they would be so late to the game on this, but welcome nevertheless.

Old Rasputin, Saint Arnold Icon Gold, Goose Island Sophie, a few others that are pretty good besides the usuals. Still some work to do, but it's already improving.

Yeah, I've had an Endeavor and an Old Rasputin at Chimes in the past month. At solid prices too!

They've had St. Arnold Endeavour for a while. Shoot, even The Bulldog doesn't have that on draft.
I think The Cove has the best beer selection and the guys there really know their stuff. We tend to go to The Bulldog more than anything, like the food and the atmosphere.
I've been to the Pelican House a few times. I was there the night they pulled the deal with the ceviche. My wife was talking about the place to some co-workers, guys in their 20s who are nurses, and they hit the nail on the head about Pelican House....the place is too well lit and spread out. Like it would be easy to just start talking to a woman at the Bulldog, but at Pelican House the seats are too far away.

ETA: I know the Bulldog has a good list somewhere. But I can't seem to find it

They rotate out beers several times per week so a list is useless :)

That's kinda the point of a list. If they would put their menu on BeerMenus.com, it would help a bunch.

Until Bulldog goes non-smoking, it will never be THE place for me to go. I can't stand smoke.

what?

Avenue Pub prints new menus every few days. And they keep their online menu up to date.

Bulldog needs to get their shite together.

Yep. They've had it for a couple months.

And Cove has had it since late last year.

There was a thread a while back with someone asking where to get it and I don't think anyone named a place.
