I haven't had the 21 or 25, but that's my favorite release from Redbreast. So good and not too difficult to find.

Same. I did find a PX Sherry finished one this past weekend. Haven’t cracked it yet but may do so Saturday. I’m very curious to see what it is like

FPD RB 21 and Middleton Barry Crockett are both really good Irish Whiskies.

I've been seeing that one around as well and thinking about pulling the trigger. Let us know how you like it.

No idea why I sat on this for a couple years, it's excellent

That’s the thing about whiskey I like the most it doesn’t go bad. The. when you open that dusty bottle somehow it taste better than the stuff you recently bought, I don’t know why?

Didn't pull this out to flex on the RB21 post. Was going for a pour anyway since today is my birthday

This one really is special and unique. Such a long lasting finish.

27 (not 25) is what I had in mind. I remember when you posted getting that bottle. Still jealous.

I'd be interested in hearing impressions on the 21 and 27, preferably along the lines of convincing me not to buy them.

Oh, and happy birthday!

I know some people say the neck pour is a myth, but I am a believer that it exist. Stagg Jr is my go to example that stuff is like Kerosene until you get it to the tips of the Antlers.

Happy birthday! Yeah that 27 looks damn interesting. Glad it wasn’t a buyers remorse issue for you

Man bourbon hunting is getting crazy. Alexander's announced yesterday evening that they were releasing 180 bottles of Eagle Rare today at 10:00. Limit 1 per customer, and they were sold out at 10:45

I had posted about this on a Facebook group. I love when stores limit bottles but I really wish the local stores would not announce on public forums when they will have store picks of allocated or hard to find stuff. Just put it out and it will sell. This would give the people who frequently shop the store and are more loyal to the store on a regular basis to have a better shot at scoring one of the bottles vs. all the people who show up from the boondocks just to get a bottle that was announced online.

I agree. I was just still shocked that 180 bottles were gone within 45 minutes, on a work day.

I wouldn't be surprised if they held back some bottles to give their regulars a chance to buy. But who knows.

It’s marketing. By announcing it you get more store traffic. Which leads to sales & exposure
