I only have the medium toast char 5 114 proof. I guess I need to pick up the heavy toast while it's still on the shelf

I'd have to double check, but think it's 70 or 71. I'm pretty sure this is going to be part of my regular rotation now so will look forward to comparing future batches.

Evening ... big batch of shrimp etouffee for my mom. Then finished the night w a knob ck 120 for a little burn than weller 107 for a smooth finish

Considering 5he stupid amounts people pay on secondary for bourbon which mostly all taste the same, i think this justifies its price with the age and proof.

Here in south Louisiana, Weller SR is semi-rare, allocated bourbon.
