Heypaul, how did you like that Dickel 15yr pour? I had a sample of the Martin’s pick yesterday and walked out with a bottle. I was extremely surprised at the flavors coming out of it and am really liking it.

Congrats. If you shoot me an email with a good mailing address, I'll send you some celebratory barrel proof samples (including that Cannatas Barrell pick).

A nice pour with a little cooking.
JD Taster rye. Supposedly it’s the one they used for the SR SiB.

20lbs of pork butt cubed up and about 6lbs of onions. Pork routee! Delicious over rice or on a poboy bread.
I help out at the Larose French Food Festival in the Boucherie booth. Learned how to cook gratons and routee.

Last full weekend in October. So it’ll be Halloween weekend this year. Usually always same as Voodoo Fest.
Some good home cooking and down the bayou hospitality!

Not bad Mr. Maker....not bad at all.

Thats the best time to have it. We usually have our gumbo cook-off in September and the plate lunch festival in July when its still hot. You sweating bugshots while eating but its worth it. Definitely making that trip out there tho

Well congrats. I must have missed this a few days ago. Always good news to hear about newborns! I got a 21 y/o son and 17 y/o daughter. Could not be further from different personalities but both are awesome kids and have made me and wife very proud. But I’ll just say the girl keeps me on my toes so good luck!!! Haha. You guys will be awesome. Congrats again!

Thanks man! Ready for her to make her appearance, she’s already late so it seems like she’s taking after her mother, I’m going to have my hands full
