Lots of reviews say these two taste like smores. While I agree overall, I pick up some decent differences. The Woodford's standout note to me is chocolate, while the 1910 is more toasted graham cracker.

They're both delicious though.

2-3 months of searching should make this taste a little better.

I enjoy the 1910, but I find a strong black pepper note on the finish. I’m not a big fan of it, but I enjoy the sip overall. When I do drink it I find myself drinking it fast to prevent that finish from coming. Haven’t dipped into my bottle in a while, so may have to revisit it soon.

I felt the same way. Had looked hard for over a month and then by way of trading I scored 2. I traded a W12 for one and a Blantons for the other. I’m thinking JD will release this again this year based on the success they had with this one. JD is slowly reinserting themselves as a valid player in the whisky market with some of their recent bottles. Their Barrel Proof Single Barrel is one I will buy again once I finish what I have.

Sitting around, cooking outside, minding by own business and a neighbor wanders over and this happens. Helluva Sunday to pop some tops.

Jelly how is that one? I’ve been eyeing it.

Wilderness Trail is up there for one of my favorite pours right now!

After a couple of pours and considering scarcity, those are good trades. I thought I was going to have to part with a MWND, but ended up finding it at retail. The Barrel Proof SB is really solid, but I think the Rye is on a different level. Of course, I lean towards ryes in general so I'm sure that plays a part in my assessment.

I feel good right now not gonna lie. Must be something in the air.

Not sure if any other H-town baws got this Whitmeyer’s Single Malt but it’s absolutely killer. Brown sugar, vanilla, and caramel for days.

Been pouring all day while doing housework. OF1920, OF1915, Woodford Double Oaked so far. Probably got one more in me at some point this evening.

Never had Blade and Bow. Always consider buying a bottle, but just keep putting it off.
