Augusta released their 17 year on Saturday, drove down for the launch and got a few bottles. Also stopped at New Riff and picked up few good ones.

The mash bill is undisclosed, I did read they work with Bardstown but in what capacity, I’m not sure. I wish I knew, however they’re doing it they are putting some fine bourbon in these bottles.

My go to ryes are willet 4 yr and michters.

Sazerac is everywhere and great for the price.

Was in a liquor store today and they had a bottle of the Heritage Barrel Rye. Did not have a price on it. I put it on the counter and when he rang it up it was $328. That’s a lot for some JD juice. Have you tried it?

Good, not worth $328, IMO.

I’d pay $200 for their limited releases because they are limited and usually very good, but I wouldn’t go much higher than that.
