I drank nearly a full bottle of Basil Hayden last night. It is in fact as easy to drink as was discussed

Just my opinion but I prefer oak on beef. Cherry is better suited for chicken and fish. Looks good though

there's a new whiskey bar that just opened up in br called lock and key where the old glen's was...over 240 whiskeys and a good wine/beer list...good place to try some stuff you've never had but don't want to buy a whole bottle

I wanted a light smoke since it's the first time for it and I don't want it overpowering. I was trying to decide between apple and cherry. I will experamental with others as I go on...I'll keep oak in mind.

Yea I heard lock and key will have a pretty large selection. I may go hit that up one day.

It's supposed to be clear tomorrow over here.

You'll be pretty hard pressed to oversmoke on a Kamado. I'm always trying to get more smoke on my egg and will probably end up getting an offset in the future. The issue with smoking on a Kamado is they are almost too effecient. You can hold a temp forever but won't produce a ton of smoke

I have a primo XL...same thing? I don't know that I'd want a ton of smoke...but I'm new to it?

A primo and a green egg are gonna perform pretty much the same way... they are both kamados. By nature they are very effecient due to the design and thick ceramic walls.

You'll be good. Those baby backs?
