Yeah, I really liked it, I may be in the minority on this opinion, but I like the old 10 years better.

I just purchased a bottle of Blade and Bow, I'd never seen it before on the shelf. I've read some mixed reviews on it from around the web, I'd like to know what this board thinks of it.

Its ok...my feelings are as mixed as the reviews you probably have read. Not bad...but not great. The price makes it more ok than not I guess.

I enjoy it. Just remember, with each sip, the dark seed of the Diageo empire takes root within you and before you know it.....your cupboard is filled with IW Harper and Buleitt.

Damn, a lot of good bourbon on these last few pages. I'm just happy to find $19.99 woodford and $39.99 Macallan 12 year while I'm in town. I also picked up baby saz since I can't get it in Dayton.

I find that I like most of my bourbons under 18 years, this is one of the few that I found aged past that point exceptionally well.

I probably have a bit different taste than most though. For instance I'd rank the Van Winkle line just on taste: VWFRR, PVW15, PVW20, PVW23, LotB, OR10.

To me bourbon is best 10-18 years, scotch 18-25 years, rye 18-?(I haven't found an old rye that I didn't like yet with a Canadian rye Alberta Premium 30 year being one of the best)
