Pikesville is an excellent rye. Definitely worth the money.

Mind giving me your thoughts on the saz? I haven't opened mine because I've been saving it for a WLW trade, but I will probably be able to get a WLW next week so I'm curious..

Damnit I could have done that oh well.
I'm a fan of Hibiki too. 12 is hard to beat at the price point IMO.

Have you had the whistlepig 10 rye? How would you compare it to that?

Whistlepig 10

ETA - have you had WLW before? I'm assuming you haven't had Saz. They are totally different whiskeys, so I think it's personal preference on who prefers which. I would suggest giving them a taste at a bar to see which one you prefer.

Me and JCANS went. LSUTCC was there as well and won a Handy. I won an Old Forester 1870 and a beer. JCANS won a Pikesville Rye.

This was a give away and not a drawing to buy bottles. Their were some really good bottles that she gave away including the aforementioned in addition she gave away a Lot B which some dude who didn't know what he had won. The same guys wife won a BCBS Rare and a bottle of Glenlivet 15.

Joan is a class act and I encourage everyone to shop at The Beverage Store. She has the best prices in town.
