How much did that cost you? Bought one at Specs over the summer in Dallas, curious if I overpayed.

I think $100 is retail. This was on sale for $10 off and I paid cash which gives you an additional discount at Specs

I'm a fan of Makers as an everyday go to, anyone have any recommendations of some things to try that has a slight sweetness/vanilla taste similar to Makers to try?

Need recommendations, here's the story, buddy of mine, big bourbon drinker, his wife wants to get him 10-15 bottles for Christmas, rather than drop the same amount on a couple pappys, like he usually does, this was her idea to surprise him with some nice bottles. She has no clue what to get and has enlisted my help in making a list and finding some if not all. I know most of what's in his liquor cabinet and want to get him some that he does not have. Wanting to spend around 2k, no more than $300 or so per bottle, and only a 1-2 of those. What would everyone include on their list? I realize some of these will be bought at secondary, but feel free to include those as well.

Jim Murray Whiskey 2015

Alright gentlemen, we have a new whiskey we need to hoard and bunker. According to Jim Murray, whiskey God extraordinaire, the best whiskey of 2015 is Crown Royal's Rye whiskey....

Yeah....

So go hoard all you can now because the Whisky Bible said its the best out there. We are probably too late honestly, there's probably none left.
