Wow...that market seems more inflated. I can stretch a rare bourbon bottle for a year. You can't do that with a beer.
It's AWFUL. You open a beer, you're drinking it. I heard one story about a Toppling Goliath Morning Delight (currently one of the most highly rated beers in the world) went for $700 secondary. That's for one 22 oz. bottle that you open and drink. It doesn't make sense to me. Now, I admittedly don't have proof of that, it's hearsay, so it could be completely false. I've heard other prices like $300. But either way, it's absolutely absurd.

High cotton you want to ship me some of that weller barrel?

That's ridiculous. ..people think the bourbon bubble will pop. I think the beer market would first.

Market is absolutely due for contraction, and it will. As it is, new breweries are opening almost daily. That's where you will see contraction. The people that make fantastic beer, like the people that make fantastic bourbon, will continue to do what they do. The ones that make sub-par product will die. I think you're still going to see ridiculous secondary values, though.

I came very close to a second bottle...very. I would have been on here trying to trade for a Saz18 or ER17.

2.5 hours roundtrip...treated the wife to a fun dinner, a Barberesco, a Barolo and good tequila. I got a WLW, EHT Single Barrel and a Saints win.
Solid night.

You should have heard about yesterday!
I think at one point I took my belt off and bit down on it to try to numb the pain. Thankfully my last class of the day is my Honors class and they were amazing. It helped me step back from the ledge.

Dayum, I was in there earlier this week. I bought a Son of Bourye and Bulleit Rye because it was, I think, $20.99. Way cheaper than Rouse's. Also I bought a pack of boudin which was absolute shite, but I figured it would be bad.

Picked up some OWA 107 at Martin's in BR. They got a couple of bottles in from the NOLA store. They also just got a Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit private barrel in.
