Hmmm. Last year I remember reading a story about Jim Rutledge having trouble getting a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition for his Son-in-Law. This year you can walk in and buy 9 cases. Looks like they are 90 proof this year so I guess they were able to yield more.

That was the back of a van at 4R, not our ride.. Unfortunately the sweet little lady wouldn't take our envelope of money for a box or two.

I don't think I ever mentioned it here, but I was told by a bartender at Avenue Pub that Louisiana only got 30 bottles. I know, not the best source, but thats what I was told.

I heard it was 30 from martins or Churchills. One of those places, can't remember which one. BR itself probably got 10 or so I would say. Maybe LA got more than but couldn't have been that much more.

So, i always wondered this. Just as i was about to start college in 2000, i found a bottle of scotch at my grandma's house as we were cleaning it out. It was a very small bottle and was from Haig and Haig. I hung onto it for a long time when apparently it was stolen or misplaced. I did some googling and i'm pretty certain this is what i had.
It looked almost identical to this bottle, may have been the same year. Was this an epic find or just another bottle of old scotch that was ok. Not a big scotch drinker at all.
