If I find 10 on the shelves then it's fair game...if you can afford it, it's 'murica....however, I felt I had my fair share and I told my connect I had some already and to give the bottle to the next person on the list. I promptly gave a bottle of CO to my connect and his boss...partly bc it solidified and already good connection and partly bc they are both really good people, who I personally like.
I acted as I did bc I felt that it was the right thing to do. I would do the exact same tomorrow if I found 10 van Winkles on the shelf.

Yeah I figured I was just curious what store had 10 out on the shelves at retail. I understand if you want to keep that to yourself, no biggy, I don't think I live in your territory though

As much as I want to like it I just can't get into the GITM. It's not bad but if I am going to drink beer I prefer something else. With that said, I have a 4 pack of GITM that I would like to see go to a BR guy (since that is where I bought it) that had a hard time getting it and will enjoy it. I will sell at my cost but you have to pick up from me in BR.

Aw man. That would be delicious. But being a Baton Rouge fellow, the 90 minute drive each way would be a bit much for me on a Thursday night.

If anyone is interested in joining me it also happens to be Steelers Vs. Ravens on Thursday Night Football. Come find me at the BSoBR event next weekend. Assuming that the BSoBR guys will let us discuss scotch without throwing us out...
