Honestly, I wish more people would try it and see if they like it or not. It's a wheated bourbon and if you don't like that style, you won't like Pappy. I usually tell people to try OWA 107 or W12 and if they don't like them, they probably won't really like Pappy. Folks just usually buy into the hype.

I take at least a little credit for getting the Lafayette boys to at least keep open minds about scotch. I took an Aberlour 12 year to one of the tastings and even got Uncle JackD to say, "That ain't half bad there, baw"

I am a huge fan of the van Winkle line up. I don't think that much of the 15. You may want to try the 20 or the rye before you pass judgment. .mm just a humble opinion

The VWFRR is probably the best whiskey I've ever had. The 20 is amazing as well, but I honestly don't see that much difference between the 20 and the Lot B. Don't get me wrong, the 20 is better but considering the price, the Lot B is just as good. I've never had the 15 or the 23.

Need to have all 3 back to back. 15 is good but I prefer the 20 and 23. And the rye is just yum. Lot b is decient and I honestly have never had the 10vw. I have some just never opened.

I'd be happy to take those 10s off your hands if you just plan on looking at them!

The 23 loses something that the 20 has...it's too smooth. It loses some of it complexity.

Now, it's been since '08 since I have tried The 23. I just don't even search it out...the 20, the rye and Lot B are what I search out. The ten, 15 and the 23 are very good, but just not worth the effort unless they just fall in my lap. I have been lucky to get at least a bottle of 20 for the past 9 years...each year is getting harder.
