Just wow.

Unc, how was that Son of Bourye you had? I believe it was you. It was recommended to me by one of the fellas at Avenue when I was asking about ryes. If it's good, how hard is it to come by, or what does it retail for secondary? I have a good buddy whose wife is about to squeeze one out (a baby, not...you know) and they are partial to rye. I'm looking to gift them something different.

Nothing better than an ice cold pony of the High Life on a hot summer day.

Perfect. You willing to slip some info this way about a location for that? To be fair, I don't search out bourbon much, so I'm real bad about locating the good stuff. You can always email me @gmail if it needs to be kept on the downlow. I promise I won't tell 4miles

I know. Now I am stuck with 7 beers that I like but just don't think it's the GOAT. Who knows maybe it will be a little less bitter after some time in the bottle and I will like it more? And I'm $28 light in my wallet. I could have bought another Eagle Rare 10!

I should have just put on a GITM DA GOAT belt buckle and said it was the shite.

Hmmmm okay. I'm going to read that as Elio's here in NOLA. I bet I could ask Tim and he'd find some.

Yessuh boss. First round of Crown at Ave on me

...but I'd also meet up and sip some juice that isn't shite with you one day. Really want to work on my bourbon palate anyway.

Have you checked out Elio's? Tim generally pulls some good stuff, it seems, and he's such a personable guy. I feel like if you wanted something he'd try to facilitate, within reason of course.

I'd enjoy that. Let me know. I mostly stick to the beer threads, but I enjoy venturing over here when we have a release because some funny posting generally happens. Laughs are good. And y'all seem like fun baws.
