BSOBR Facebook page

Yeah we've done a couple of events at Lock & Key, we also go to the River Room, The Cove, and Olive or Twist. We are actually having an event at Olive tomorrow night at 7:00.

is that LA1 bad because it's so young or is it just bad distillate?

Honestly it's probably both. I think it definitely needs some serious age to it. But the mashbill is funky. There is some rice in there. I don't know why but it is just bad. If you're coming tomorrow I can bring you a sample.

My go to whiskey bar in New Orleans is Avenue Pub.

Couldn't agree more. The upstairs bar has one of the most extensive bourbon and scotch selections in the area.

A couple of my other favorite spots are Barrel Proof (Magazine at Erato) and Kenton's (Magazine at Nashville).

Sometimes I'll dedicate a night to that. If I have a couple friends over, I'll just pull out 4 or 5 really low bottles and basically nothing else can be drank until those are gone.

Oh and it's $40
