$41 is probably the cheapest I’ve seen for a pour of PVw23... they have some great prices IMO

Probably get the GTS pour. ..
I just think Pappy is over rated and can’t get excited about their bottles.
Speaking of wheat, just poured RC6

I told the bartender I would buy the whole bottle if he had one unopened.
I wonder how often if ever the state checks those bottles to see if they are refilling them?
Probably is not really a way to test them honestly.

I had a buddy do that at Social with a WLW before the price hike a few years back.
Idk if there is a way to test them. But I know for sure some send out the wrong stuff on purpose. I called out the bourbon house in Nola more than once on it. They apologize and blame the runner. Lies...

I love Russell's Reserve SB, it's one of the sweetest bourbons I've ever tasted. I will always keep it around.

I just bought a bottle of RR single barrel and some Eagle Rare. Can’t wait to open.

How many here feel like I do, Blanton’s is Just not good?
It’s my 3PD (first two were BT store pick & Barrell Whiskey batch 1).
This Blanton’s is just not good. There is no flavor.

If it’s not a store pick, I usually don’t bother with it. Lots better bottles at that price point

I never was enamored by Blantons but it was a easy sipper for the price when it was just on the shelf. Now I dont think its worth the effort to get it unless its a store pic. IMO

It serves a roll for me...I've had 3-4 really rich pours and wanna start turning down a bit, blantons is a good option there. It's good just not a lot of bang. But now that I can't find it for under $70 if at all, I probably won't buy it again

If you live near Baton Rouge, I would love to have first look at your collections. I don't post here much but I am pretty well know in the Baton Rouge bourbon community
and would treat you fairly. There is a reasonable chance I would buy it all. Depends on what you have of course.
