Tasting with a buddy. These are two heavy hitting scotches.

I almost bought that SB tonight (not the 17 because I ain’t no OT baller lol). Read good things about it.

I’m with you on the scotch. Maybe it’s just that I like variety and it’s new to me, but I’m just jot enjoying most bourbons right now. I’m loving scotches currently. Tonight I had Bookers, Bakers (jim beam heavy night I guess lol), eagle and blade/bow, and only the ER tasted fine to me. Everything was off putting for some reason, and normally I adore bakers and bb.

I think the scotch and irish kick I’ve been on has taken me over. Probably just a phase

Is he still asking $60 a bottle for ER? I was there during the holidays. ER was $60 & WSR was $50. Neither were store picks. I passed.
Six months ago, his ER was $35 and WSR was $30.
Now, his store pick BT is amazing and only $23

No idea what I paid for it I forgot. Curds got them for me and I would pay whatever he was asking for it. The Piggly Wiggly has such a history in the first thread that I had to have that face on a bottle
