I won the opportunity to buy the EH Taylor Barrel Proof at the Alexander’s raffle. I prefer my Bourbon closer to 90 proof and over ice. I also have a bottle of EHT BP in my cabinet that has been open for 5 years and is 75% full. For that reason I would like to see if anyone preferably in the BR area would like to trade for the EHT BP for a bottle or combination of bottles. Willing to trade up or down depending on what you have.
Contact me at the G mail if interested.

Last night, when I got back to Houston from Nola, I did an inventory and realized I had too much booze.

The OF150 eludes me. I can’t wait to try the JD BP Rye

That Teeling is good? I’m just dipping my toes into the Irish scene, and I am enjoying it plenty. How would you compare it to redbreast and green spot? Those are the only tow I’ve had so far.

quote:this is a brand new a Spec's single barrel, cask strength. I like the regular Teelings. My favorite irish is Redbreast Cask Strength, so I imagine this would be my jam. It was $100. I'll post an update after I open it and try it.

Redbreast Cask Strength
I am on the list for whenever this comes in. I'm looking forward to trying it. I also plan to grab that Lustau Redbreast as well at some point. That sherry finish should be interesting.

I've never seen Redbreast Cask strength anywhere in louisiana. It's $82 in Houston. I heard someone say Hokus Pokus gets it though.

FPD, it’s been a while since I’ve had EH Taylor and I’m really enjoying this bottle.

1PD. The Golden Dram. Found the recipe online and thought it sounded good. I’m digging it. 1 sugar cube. 3 dash angostura. 3/4 Oz scotch. Top off with good Prosecco.
Cheers to the New Years fellas.

Bought this to replace an almost empty one. It’s one of my favorites and I had never seen a barrel pick. It’s good but I was hoping for a little more from it over a regular bottle being a pick.

That scotch cocktail seems interesting.
