Pretty new to bourbon and want to get a bottle around the $100 range that is relatively easy to find. Any recommendations?

$100 is a tough level, the Belle Meade are awesome but I’d lower it a bit and pick up a local bottle of Makers mark Private Select which is around $70.

I love Scotch and Ardbeg is one of my favorite distilleries.
And yep, you are jumping head first into the deep end of the pool.
Good luck. An Oa isn’t my favorite Ardbeg but it’s not bad. If you find you are not put off by the smoke and pest, try the Corryvrekan. It’s one of the best Scotches you will find.
