Played Fallen Oak today and had quite a few pours after in the bar. Jefferson Ocean 17yr was one of them. It was very soft, silky, some fruit with a taste of wet wood but very quick and didn’t really stick long. I thought it was a great taste but don’t think I’d spend the money for a bottle. If it was $50-$60 I think I get it but anything over that I pass.

It’s not the peat per say...it’s the peat in that particular brand. I love lagavulin lineup...I just can’t get into the Laphroaig lineup.
