Did they have a lot left when you got yours? I might try to make it out there to pick one up and probably stop at Smoked.

It’s not mind blowing but I like it. Especially for the price. I feel like it has a really nice nose. I’d grab a second bottle if I came across it, but I do think the EC store picks I’ve had are probably better than this

Thanks, t00f

Yes, I love Smoked, some of my favorite Q in New Orleans. The owners are great people too.

asking about Costco? Yeah, I saw the 22 in NOLA. Stupid draconian Texas consanguinity laws means no liquor at Costco here.

In my latest installment of WTF regional pricing...stock up on Balvenie if you're in New Orleans. I grabbed the 15 yr Single barrel from Martin's last week.

I too like Martin's in Metarie. Good selection, good prices and nice people to deal with the 2 times I've been. I live in Prairieville and don't mind making the 45min drive, I'll go there first and see what they have then make a pass by Total Wine to see if they happen to have anything Martin's does not. I'll go by the local store first before the chain. Martin's are nice people also, but selection is not as great.

You are just looking for OWA and EHT SB right? for that amount of effort, Id personally just buy on the secondary. they are only $80-90 from the flippers. I dont ship, but I sell OWA's for $80 cash and $90 in trade value to my local area, which is standard nationally. I can find Small batch, so dont try to flip those, just drinkers.
