You’ll also find those with less traditional bases for recipes. Like Robert Blankenship making sauce piquante, or like Marques Leger making jambalaya for DVA Tailgating. Where did they get their recipes?
TigerDroppings.
The infamous and sometimes absurd LSU message board is known for its hot takes and conspiracy theories on the Tiger Rant, but if you head to the Food and Drink section you can find a mass collection of people exchanging ideas and recipes. They publish a long and detailed 338-page recipe collection.
“If you want to be an a-hole you go to the Tiger Rant and talk LSU sports,” Leger said.” If you want to be a bigger a-hole you go to the O-T Lounge and talk about anything, including hating people. If you want to be a delusional prick, you go to the political board. But if you want to learn how to cook, go to the Food and Drink Board. There’s good stuff on there.

What a horrible language he used, but I’m glad he enjoyed my boiled cauliflower recipe. IMO the Food Board was far superior when restaurant, not recipe, talk predominated.

I resemble this remark on every board!

I don't see many recipe threads per se. If people are discussing methods and techniques, they're talking more about culinary history and nuances that identify the foods and preparation methods that make up the backbone of Louisiana culinary culture.. not so much a pinch of this and a half cup of that.

If you want restaurants, then you're a Tom Fitzmorris kind of guy.
