Interesting that Marcellos and chimes East had Racer 5 on tap and now you don’t see it on tap anywhere.

I still pick up Bell's Two Hearted all the time.


Back then though, I would probably say Dogfish Head 90 Minute.

Hall of Fame beers, imo. I still routinely buy THA. I'd buy Pliny and Racer 5 if I could.

RIP. I think it still somewhat exists, but it's not what it once was prior to the Alpine acquisition. Rayon Vert was one of the beers to really get me going down the funky rabbit hole. If you believe what the historians theorize, Rayon Vert is very similar to what the original Burton IPAs tasted like once they arrived in India.

I found some old as rayon vert about a year ago and bought them all. Each bottle yielded about 4 ounces of beer after the bomb pit still good though hah

They were certainly prone to extreme over carbonation.
