Going to Jennings/crowley area to buy a couple combines. Will be coming in on 61 from Natchez to BR and cutting over I guess on the interstate. Want to bring a load of boudin back. Like Dons and Best Stop but didn't know if I should try another

I always try to go to best stop, but when I get off the interstate my vehicle always takes control and goes south to Billy's.

Can't help it.

Best Stop boudin is over-rated. Billy's is better and the pepper jack boudin ball or wrap is outstanding.

Go across the Audubon Bridge at St Francisville to New Roads and save some time.

I prefer Billy's which is same exit as Don's.

Do you use the same thresher on the combine for corn and soybeans or are they different?

Thanks folks. Believe I'll try Billy's.

I believe I'll try that route too Martini. As far as headers they are completely different. For beans we use a Macdon draper header (big wide header with what looks kinda like a paddle wheel on the front). Corn headers are different, kinda look like teeth on the front, has one for each of the 12 rows it cuts. We use Gerinhoff and Case ih corn headers.

Is there a good place to get Boudin east of Baton Rouge along I-12 or I-10?

Cormier's (Jennings) Jalapeno Boudin is some of the best in the state. Definitely get some from there.

I'm not saying it's the best but the smoked boudin and hoghead cheese is very very good

might as well just stop at Billy's, Don's and Best Stop. They are all near each other. We got a link from each and cracklins from two of them. Also, as someone else mentioned, Ronnie's in Hammond.
